Virginia Bickel's newest book Come September  has just been released. Order it now!

In Virginia Bickel’s second book, she turns from historical fiction to mystery. Come September is the story of Daniel Lindsey’s quest to identify the young woman found unconscious in front of his store, and to find out what she was doing on Mesa Street, in El Paso, Texas.  She brings to this genre her skill with character development and dialogue. You won't be disappointed.

This is another shot of the "Waveney Sunrise" standards that I keep out in the yard during the growing season. The harder you grow a fuchsia in the summer, the better the resulting plant.

Here's a plant of "Star of Pink" decorating one of our local churches. It was the marriage of  the sister of a dear friend of mine. She'd seen my Fuchsias and pelargoniums many times and asked if I could provide some for the wedding.

This is a photograph of my yard taken from the bottom corner and looking back up to the first floor flat in which I live. Note all the Fuchsias being kept outside. I put plants anywhere I can fit them in rather than put them in the warm greenhouse in summer.
